Feature Film Animation Editor

With extensive experience working on multi-million-dollar projects for industry giants like Sony Columbia, Aardman, Locksmith, and Warner Bros, I understand the precision and creativity required to bring animated stories to life. Editing animation is a unique process that starts before the production begins. Unlike live-action, where editors work with existing footage, animation editing involves shaping the story, pacing, and structure at the planning stage using storyboards in conjunction with temp dialogue, sound effects and music. I specialise in crafting seamless narratives, collaborating with directors, storyboard artists, layout artists and animators to ensure every frame serves the story and maximises its visual and emotional impact.

Ron's Gone Wrong

Ron’s Gone Wrong, nominated for the BFE Cut Above Award, is a charming animated feature that explores friendship and technology in the modern age. Co-directed by Sarah Smith, Jean-Philippe Vine, and Octavio E. Rodriguez, the film follows Barney, a socially awkward middle schooler, and his malfunctioning but endearing robot companion, Ron. Set in a world where personalised robots are every child’s must-have gadget, the story delves into the chaos and hilarity that ensue when Ron’s glitches reveal the importance of imperfect connections. With its heartfelt message, sharp humour, and vibrant animation, Ron’s Gone Wrong is a touching reminder of what it truly means to belong.
